1. How important is it to choose an established roofing and home maintenance company in Central Florida?

After the hurricanes of 2004, many new roofers and contractors came to Central Florida to help fix all the damage that was done. Since then, many of these companies have relocated to another area in need or simply dissolved, leaving many homeowners without any kind of recourse if warranty repairs or other issues came up.

Atlantic Siding and Roofing has been a part of the Orlando community since 1984, and we’re going to be here for many years to come. When you hire Atlantic, you can rest assured that you will have a reliable and honest partner now and in the future.

2. Do you charge for consultation?

No. All of our consultations are FREE of charge.

3. Is Atlantic Siding & Roofing a member of the Better Business Bureau?

Yes! You can look up our record here: http://www.orlando.bbb.org/newsearch2.asp?ComID=07330020000209

4. Do you warrant your products and installation?

Yes. Products are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. The length depends on the type of project. For installation, we typically guarantee one year from the time of completion, but we do offer extended warranty options as well.

When the job is complete we make certain that the homeowner is given all necessary warranty information.

6. How long do installations take?

Times vary from job to job depending on the size and complexity of the project. Some jobs will take two to three days while others that will take longer. Once we have estimated the job and taken measurements, we can give you a timetable on how long your job will take.

Most projects involving siding and roofing can be done in just a week.

7. How does the process work?

There are two very important parts of the process. The first is the initial consultation, and the second is the actual work on the project. The initial consultation is when we try to give the homeowner as much information as we possibly can to help with this important decision. We learn what the homeowner would like to have done and make suggestions on how to get the most out of this investment.

The next step is that we take all the necessary and precise measurements so we can price the job. We always show up for a consultation fully prepared with product samples, color charts, brochures, warranty information, and many references. When the homeowner has decided to go ahead and have the job done, we give them a timetable on when we can begin the work and when we can expect to be done with the work.

Also as the job is being done, the workers are always helpful in answering any questions the homeowner may have along with being able to address any problems that may arise during installation.

8. In what condition will you leave my house during and after the installation process?

We work in a very professional manner. Our installers will clean up after each and every day that they are working on your home. They remove all debris, and keep all their working materials out of sight until they begin again the next day. Once the job is complete, they will remove all rubbish and make sure everything is exactly the way they found it!

9. What is Masonite and Louisiana Pacific siding?

These two products are made with chips of wood or sawdust glued together with a finish and are sometimes called Hard Board siding. Both are currently in litigation and you may be entitled to money through a class action settlement of both companies. If you are unsure as to what kind of siding you currently have, our experts know the difference and can provide you with the necessary information on whom to contact next.
